How Does No-Fault Car Insurance Really Work?
No-fault automobile insurance is among the most misunderstood types of insurance coverage floating around on the market today. Visitors to no-fault says like New York are often befuddled at the intent of an happening where no one’s at fault. If no one did it, then who gets to pay for it?
Before we go too far into the second half of that question, let’s take a look at the first. It’s totally impossible to have an happening for which no one is responsible. Even if you hit a deer or slid off an embankment in the middle of a snowstorm, there’s someone responsible. Someone did it, and someone is going to suffer the consequences of that in potential traffic tickets and nearly certain increases in their automobile insurance rates.
No-fault automobile insurance just shakes up the fiscal responsibility end of that a tiny bit. Rather than spend months hashing out who was responsible, hammering out the details of paying claims and covering lawsuits when drivers try to drag their feet about admitting whether the happening was actually their fault or not (which, believe it or not, happens far more often than you might think), no-fault drivers just sit back and let their own automobile insurance companies take care of it. It doesn’t matter who actually caused the accident, apiece driver is going to be taken of by their own insurer. This lets them get back on the roads as swiftly as possible, and it keeps the courts clear of hundreds of traffic disputes apiece year.
Even though their insurance company is footing the bill, the driver not responsible for the happening isn’t going to see any change in their automobile insurance rates afterward. Nobody’s that crazy! The driver that did cause it, on the other hand, is probably going to watch their rates fly through the roof after the accident.
No-fault says still require drivers to carry liability automobile insurance, which absolutely confounds some drivers until you think about the cost of getting health care in today’s over-inflated environment. Costs are rising rapidly, and with unit costs starting at ,000 a day and an nearly limitless potential for disaster with the cost of rehabilitative therapy after an happening medical bills can fly sky high-well beyond the limits of traditional health insurance coverage and possibly even beyond that of individualized protection.
At that point most judges will grant the victim to prosecute the driver responsible for the happening for the difference between their coverage and their expenses. This is where liability comes in. Most experts advocate that you carry a minimum of 0,000 per mortal and 0,000 per happening in liability automobile insurance to cover any medical expenses associated with accident. It’s your ideal chance to keep your financial assets innocuous while still living up to your responsibilities.
No-fault automobile insurance isn’t as complicated as it seems-and can, in fact, make life a lot easier when you’re speaking about what you’re going to have to do to get your life baack on track after you’ve been in an accident.

The Impracticality of Credit Card Cash Advances

The Impracticality of Credit Card Cash Advances
The promise of cash advance, especially when this is tied to your credit card is completely tempting. The thought of instant money right in your metallic card is so convenient that you usually start prey to this offer. The fact, however, is that using the cash advance option of your credit card is more impractical than practical.
Why is this so?
First, cash advance transactions do not have any grace period. Unlike card buys that give you 30-45 days before you need to pay for those transactions, cash advance does not work this way. This means that even if a day after you’ve taken the money (from the ATM) you’ve made payment, you’ll still be charged with the corresponding finance charges. In short, as soon as the money is released out of the ATM, then you’re in for a relatively high interest rate.
Now, this piece of information might not be readily acquirable because this is not really the primary purpose why people get a credit card. Those who apply for those metallic, attractable and plastic cards want to make card buys in their favorite stores or want to pay in establishments where Visa’s and MasterCard’s are very much welcome. The need to avail of this cash advance option gets emphasized when you need immediate cold cash — for transactions that do not accept your prestigious cards.
Second, cash advances have different interest rates — and always, these are slightly higher than those imposed on credit card purchases. And because cash advance transactions do not have a grace period, the overall finance charge imposed on you could skyrocket!
Wikipedia reports that in the US, interest rates for card buys vary between 6% and 12%. The interest rate (remember, this is charged to you outright, no grace period given) for cash advance is between 20 and 25%!
Still, some card providers charge a flat rate for cash advance transactions. So whether you’ve borrowed 0 or 0 in cold cash, the finance charge will be the same.
And the list does not end. Other card providers charge a combination of percentage and flat rate as finance fee. Envision the amount of money that you have to repay out of a easy and one-time withdrawal from your credit card!
Lastly, some credit organizations require you to pay your card buys first. This means that unless you have lowered your credit card bill to a minimum or to zero, you would continue to accrue interest rates for your cash advance. They only deduct your payment from your cash advance equilibrise once your payables from your buys are cleaned.
Now envision if you can't fully pay your equilibrise in a month’s time, think about how much interest rate the bank can collect from you from your cash advance! Yes, you probably wouldn’t want to compute it unless you want to have a heart attack.
True, you might get instant cold cash through cash advance but the repercussions of this action might be far from favorable. You might not need to place up collateral or to move in long lines because credit cards automatically wage you with a separate cash advance limit. All you have to do is line up in an ATM. But the finance charge for cash advance transactions could kill you.
Therefore, before you decide to use that plastic card to get instant cash, think again. Other methods have to be fatigued first. You might want to avail of individualized loans, payday loans or you can even borrow money from a friend. Credit card cash advances should be the last resort because more often than not, this choice is highly impractical.

Grocery Coupons ? When are They Not a Good Deal?

Grocery Coupons ? When are They Not a Good Deal?
Last Sunday I was scanning the weekly ads hunting for grocery coupons that I could use on our family’s weekly grocery shopping trip when a thought crossed my mind. When is couponing not a good deal? Could unsuspecting frugal shoppers get carried away with the current “Coupon Craze” and end up spending more money than they actually need to?
It seems like everyone these days are clipping grocery coupons and searching out printable coupons on the world wide web which can save you substantial money on your grocery bill apiece month. But I believe that clipping coupons isn’t the only answer and, in a worst case scenario, could cause you to spend more money than you need to.
How many of you have actually stopped to think about the prices you are paying at your local grocery store? Are you loyal to a specific supermarket? Do you look down at stores like Wal-Mart or discount grocery stores with some contemptuous smirk? (Don’t laugh… I read a forum post from one coupon mother that refused to step a foot inside a Wal-Mart store due to her political morality!) The message I am trying to get crossways is that it pays to shop around.
Kimberly, on her Addicted to Costco blog, recently did a great price comparison between three stores. HEB, Wal-Mart and Randall’s (which is the same as Safeway). She picked 39 frequently bought items and stuck to leading brands. Not surprising, the prices from apiece store differed extremely depending on the product with Costco having the ideal prices on 30 out of the 39 items and Randall’s (Safeway) being the most expensive.
While I was surprised at the difference my wife wasn’t at all. She states Safeway has always been the most costly chain grocery store in our area and that only when you begin using the Safeway rewards card coupled with manufacturer coupons do their prices begin to come down to prices more in line with less costly grocery stores.
So, what’s my advice? Don’t be loyal to just one grocery store. Do what Kimberly did and do a price comparison of the grocery stores in your neighborhood. Once you are armed with this data you will be superior equipped to save money with or without coupons! You might find that the non-sale prices at your discount grocer are superior than the understanding prices with coupons at the chain grocery stores. Use your manufacturer coupons at your less costly grocery stores instead of the more costly grocers like Safeway. Also, ask the manager of your discount grocery store if they accept competitor’s coupons. It never hurts to ask!

Perilous Credit Card Cash Advance

Perilous Credit Card Cash Advance
Taking a credit card cash advance is a certain way of getting into debt. Credit card companies offer many incentives of low interest and grace periods for payment for purchases. A different rule is applied for cash loans given by these companies. The fees attached to advance loans are high and no grace period is given as an incentive to customers who borrow cash on their credit cards.
People who have credit cards often borrow cash through ATMs using their credit card for emergencies. Unlike other cash advance loans, there are many high fees attached to these loans. The ATM charges a fee for withdrawal of the amount for starters. These companies starts charging interest on the cash advance the moment the money is withdrawn. These cash advances are difficult to keep track of because the same card is used for buys and bill payments. There are companies that offer no fee advance cash loans but these loans are extremely rare. Some card companies give advance checks to customers. These checks are advances and if used in excess by the customer, it can land the customer in debt.
Credit card cash advances need to be repaid as soon as possible. This is because these lender dues are the first debts to adversely impact a credit score. Repaying a credit card advance is difficult because any payments will be first applied by the company to buys and last of all to the loan. Customers should refrain taking short term loans during an emergency because the interests are high and repayment is difficult.

Giving Thanks for Everything Your Car Insurance Does for You-Whether You See It or Not
Giving Thanks for Everything Your Automobile Insurance Does for You-Whether You See It or Not
How much would you state you know about what your automobile insurance company does for you? Do you know all the behind the scenes players? Or are you just starting to figure out the benefits of all of those insurance payments you make apiece month? With Thanksgiving coming right around the corner now seems like the right time to sit back and give thanks for everything your insurer does to keep your life flowing smoothly.
This Thanksgiving, don’t forget to lift a toast to your automobile insurance company. Why? For starters, what about the way your liability automobile insurance saves your bacon each day?
Most people don’t really think about the significance of their liability automobile insurance coverage until they’ve been in an accident. Hey, no one’s blaming you for it. You have no reason to. If you’ve had to receive medical care for anything lately, however, you’re already well aware of the fact that the cost of health care is currently bordering on the obscene. If you’re not carrying a health insurance policy, affording regular health care is often out of your reach.
Your health insurance isn’t going to do a thing to help cover the cost of medical care for the other driver(s) after you’ve been in an accident. It’s not even going to be an option. When a single day in the unit costs over ,000 and there’s no limit to the amount of time they could spend in there the number of zeros in the hospital bill you could be handed is nearly inconceivable.
Then there’s the cost of fixing your automobile up. Hopefully you didn’t purchase into that old wife’s tale about how it’s just not worth it to place comprehensive and/or collision on your automobile when you actually own it outright and went ahead and place the extra coverage on anyway. The difference in your automobile insurance rates is all but negligible, but the way it can rescue your bank statement (and your credit) when you’ve been in an happening is astounding. They’ll step in and pay to repair or replace your car, whether it’s been swallowed whole by a tsunami or liberated from the oppression of ownership by someone who decided your automobile stereo would make a sweet addition to their individualized collection.
Either way, you’ll be shelling out a deductible rather than the full cost of the repairs, and that’s always good news. So don’t forget to take a tiny time to be thankful this Thanksgiving. Your automobile insurance deserves it.
